KALIBO, Aklan, Ten international cruise vessels are set to drop anchor at Boracay Island by 2014 with 11,752 total passengers, making Aklan’s paradise resort one of the hottest cruising destinations of the world.

This after six cruise ships had docked in Boracay starting October 2012 until this year carrying a total of 7.762 passengers.

Another four cruise vessels are scheduled to sidetrip in Boracay by 2015 with total number of 7.148 cruise travellers and another two in 2016 with 4.276 cruise passengers.

Set to drop anchor in Boracay next year are the following with their reputive schedules;

-Ms. Costa Victoria with 2.394 passengers and 766 crew members- January 8, 2014

-Ms. Europa 2 with 516 passengers and 370 crew members- January 9, 2014

-Ms. Europa 2 with 516 passengers and 320 crew members- February 8, 2014

-Ms. Costa Victoria with 2.394 passengers and 766 crew members – February 17, 2014

-Ms. Deutschland with 620 passengers and 280 crew members- March 7, 2014

-Ms. Costa Atlantica with 2, 680 passengers and 897 crew members- March 11, 2014

-Ms. Europa 2 with 516 passengers and 370 crew members- March 20, 2014

Ms. Superstar Acquarius with1,600 passengers and 1,100 crew members- April 1, 2014

-Ms. Europa 2 with 516 passengers and 370 crew members- April 27, 2014

-Ms. The world with 250 crew members- July 29-30, 2014

In 2015, the following cruise vessels are set to drop anchor in Boracay:

-MV Costa Atlantica with 2.680passengers and 897 crew members- March 11, 2015.

-Ms. Celebrity Century with 2102 passengers and 909 crew members- February 3, 2015

-Ms. L’ Anstral with 264 passengers and 139 crew members- March 14, 2015

-Ms. Celebrity Century – March 17, 2015

In 2016, Ms. Celebrity Millineum is set to dock in the island on January 25, 2016 carrying 2, 138 passengers and 999 crew members while it is also set to return to the island on February 5, 2016.
