The said committee has a perfect attendance with the presence of the Chairman, Engr. Jose Miguel M. Miraflores with the Hon. Ramon S. Gelito and Hon. Emmanuel Soviet Russia A. Dela Cruz as members, to which were referred the following enactments has considered the same and has the honor to report back to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan with the recommendation that the same enactments BE DECLARED OPERATIVE IN THEIR ENTIRETY
An Ordinance prohibiting any person from committing any act which causes stigma, disgrace, shame, humiliation, harrassment or otherwise discriminating against a person suspected, probable or confirmed infected with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), including public and private doctors, nurses, health workers who are assigned to hospitals or other centers where these persons are being treated or managed, and imposing the appropriate penalties for violatings thereof
An Ordinance requiring all persons within the territorial jurisdiction of the Province of Aklan to wear face masks or other suitable physical protective barrier in all public places during the existence of a State of Public Health Emergency or similar declarations in relation to COVID-19 pandemic, providing penalties for violation thereof, and for other purposes, subjet to existing laws, rules and regulations
The 18th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aklan passed an Ordinance penalizing those who would discriminate against persons found positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), persons under monitoring or investigation, and front liners fighting the disease.

Since disinfectant supplies are running out amid the coronavirus scare, the Provincial Government of Aklan (PGA) resorted to making DIY (do-it-yourself) disinfectant and produced 1,306 liters of surface disinfectant.
