This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard. 

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. Vision
Progressive and Sustainable Aklan

Mission
To realize its vision, the province shall ensure and support, among other things:

Preservation, enrichment and promotion of arts, culture and tourism;
Promotion of health, social services and non-handicapping environment;
Enhancement of the right of the people to a balanced ecology;
Encouragement and support to the development of appropriate and self-reliant, scientific and technological capabilities;
Enhancement of moral values and public accountabilities;
Enhancement of economic prosperity, food security and social justice;
Promotion of equal employment and livelihood opportunities among the residents;
Enhancement of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System and increase adaptive capacity measures to the effects of Global Warming resulting to climate change;
Maintenance of peace and order; and
Improve the living conditions of the people of Aklan.
