Seminar on Sustainable Tourism Awareness, Reception and Tourguiding (S.T.A.R.T.) at LGU New Washington

The Province of Aklan through the Aklan Provincial Tourism Office (APTO) recently concluded the 2-day S.T.A.R.T. Seminar for LGU New Washington held September 25-26, 2018 at the ASU-CFMS Function Hall, Brgy. Pob., New Washington, Aklan, the third municipality to receive the benefits of the program participated in by some local officials, restaurant operators at the “Talabahan Village”, a popular dining destination outside Kalibo, school teachers and students. The program is aimed to develop a tourism-oriented workforce capable of providing quality services to visitors and equip them with knowledge on tourism principles, product development, arts and culture, among others.
